UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- Skill Requirements:
- Stenography: Dictation for 10 minutes at 120 words per minute (English or Hindi).
- Transcription: 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi), on computer only.
- Note: Candidates must possess strong stenography and typing skills. Refer to the official notification for details.

UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2024: Mode of Selection
- Written Examination: 300 marks, 2 hours, objective-type MCQs (General English, General Studies, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Aptitude). Negative marking: 1/3 mark per wrong answer.
- Skill Test (Qualifying): Dictation (10 minutes, 120 wpm, English/Hindi), transcription (50 minutes English, 65 minutes Hindi, on computer).
- Document Verification: Includes educational certificates, ID proof, caste certificate, age proof, PwBD certificate.
- Medical Examination: Final stage to ensure fitness for the role.
- Merit List: Based on written exam performance; skill test is qualifying only.
- Note: No interview is conducted for Personal Assistant posts. Refer to the official notification for details.
