Indian Navy Civilian Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Staff Nurse: Class 10th/High School from a recognized board; Certificate of training in an approved hospital as a Nurse; Registered as a fully trained nurse in Medical and Surgical Nursing and Midwifery; Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi or local language.
- Chargeman (Naval Aviation): Petty Officer or equivalent with 7 years’ service in the appropriate technical branch (Army/Navy/Air Force), OR Diploma in Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Automobile Engineering, OR Matriculation with approved apprenticeship and 5 years’ trade experience.
- Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop): B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics from a recognized university, OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Chargeman (Mechanic): Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production Engineering from a recognized university/institute; 2 years’ experience in quality control/assurance/testing/proof in design/production/maintenance of engineering equipment.
- Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive): Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 2 years’ experience in quality control/assurance/testing/proof in Chemical Engineering/Processing.
- Chargeman (Electrical/Electronics and Gyro/Weapon Electronics/Instrument/Mechanical/Heat Engine/Mechanical Systems/Metal/Ship Building/Millwright/Auxiliary/Ref & AC/Mechatronics/Machine): B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, OR Diploma in relevant engineering field (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, etc.) from a recognized university/board.
- Chargeman (Civil Works): B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Chargeman (Planning, Production and Control): B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics, OR Diploma in relevant engineering field (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil, etc.).
- Assistant Artist Retoucher: Class 10th/High School; Diploma/Certificate in Commercial Art/Printing Technology/Lithography/Litho Art Work (2-year course); 2 years’ retoucher experience, OR 7 years’ retoucher experience (ex-Servicemen).
- Pharmacist: Class 12th with Science; Diploma in Pharmacy; Registered as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act, 1948; 2 years’ experience as Pharmacist; Working knowledge of computers.
- Cameraman: Class 10th/High School; Diploma/Certificate in Printing Technology (2-year course); 5 years’ process camera experience, OR 10 years’ cameraman/photographer experience (ex-Servicemen).
- Store Superintendent (Armament): B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics and basic computer knowledge; 1 year experience in stores work, OR Class 12th (Science/Commerce) with 5 years’ stores experience.
- Fire Engine Driver/Fireman: Class 12th; Heavy Motor Vehicle License (Fire Engine Driver); Elementary/Basic/Auxiliary Fire Fighting course (Fireman); Physical Standards: Height 165 cm (2.5 cm concession for ST), Chest 81.5–85 cm, Weight 50 kg, Eye sight 6/6; Endurance Test: Carry 63.5 kg for 183 m in 96 seconds, 2.7 m long jump, 3 m rope climb.
- Storekeeper/Storekeeper (Armament): Class 12th with 1 year experience in inventory-related stores work.
- Civilian Motor Driver Ordinary Grade: Class 10th; Heavy Vehicle and Motorcycle License; 1 year HMV driving experience.
- Tradesman Mate: Class 10th; ITI in relevant field.
- Pest Control Worker: Class 10th; Knowledge of Hindi or regional language.
