Candidates with an M.Sc. or equivalent degree need 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). Those with B.E./B.Tech, B.Pharma, MBBS, or integrated courses are also eligible. Exam on 28 July 2025, Computer-Based Test (CBT), for five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences. Minimum passing: 33% (General/EWS/OBC), 25% (SC/ST/PwD). |

- Locate the “Important Downloads” or “Public Notifications” section on the homepage.
- Search for the notification titled “Schedule of Joint CSIR-UGC NET June-2025 Examination.”
- Click the notification to open or download the exam schedule PDF and save it on your device.
- Exam Details: The exam for all five subjects (Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences) is rescheduled to 28 July 2025 due to a clash with the HTET exam.

- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

- Online Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective-type exam with three parts (A, B, C), 200 marks, 180 minutes, held on 28 July 2025.
- Merit List: Based on CBT performance, with minimum passing marks: 33% (General/EWS/OBC), 25% (SC/ST/PwD).
- Eligibility for Assistant Professor and/or JRF: Candidates meeting cut-off marks qualify for JRF, Lectureship, or Ph.D. admission.
- Final Result Declaration: Published with final answer key and cut-off marks on csirnet.nta.ac.in.
