NVS Non Teaching Various Post 2025: Age Limits
- Female Staff Nurse, Catering Supervisor, Mess Helper (as on 30 April 2024): 18–35 years (born between 01 May 1989 and 30 April 2006).
- Electrician cum Plumber: 18–40 years (born between 01 May 1984 and 30 April 2006).
- Assistant Section Officer: 23–33 years.
- Audit Assistant, Computer Operator, Lab Attendant, Mess Helper, MTS: 18–30 years.
- Junior Translation Officer: Up to 32 years.
- Legal Assistant: 23–35 years.
- Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant: 18–27 years.
- Age Relaxation: As per NVS rules for SC/ST/OBC/PH/ESM categories (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

NVS Non Teaching Various Post 2025: Eligibility Criteria

- Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university and registered with any State Nursing Council. Age: Up to 35 years.
- Assistant Section Officer (ASO): Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 3 years’ experience. Age: 23–33 years.
- Audit Assistant: B.Com from a recognized university. Age: 18–30 years.
- Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree in Hindi with English, or English with Hindi, or any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject. Age: Up to 32 years.
- Legal Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with 3 years’ experience in handling legal cases. Age: 23–35 years.
- Stenographer: 12th pass, dictation at 80 WPM (10 min), transcription (50 min English/65 min Hindi). Age: 18–27 years.
- Computer Operator: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA in Computer Science or IT. Age: 18–30 years.
- Catering Supervisor: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or certificate in catering with 10 years’ defense service. Age: Up to 35 years.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (HQRS/RO, JNV Cadre): 12th pass, typing speed of 30 WPM (English) or 25 WPM (Hindi). Age: 18–27 years.
- Electrician cum Plumber: 10th pass with ITI certificate in Electrician/Wireman/Plumbing and 2 years’ experience. Age: 18–40 years.
- Lab Attendant: 10th pass with diploma in Laboratory Technique or 12th with Science stream. Age: 18–30 years.
- Mess Helper: 10th pass with 5 years’ experience. Age: 18–30 years.
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th pass from a recognized board. Age: 18–30 years.

NVS Non Teaching Various Post 2025: Mode of Selection

- Written Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering relevant subjects for each post.
- Skill Test: For Stenographer (dictation/transcription), Computer Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant (typing test), as applicable.
- Interview: For select posts (e.g., Female Staff Nurse, Assistant Section Officer).
- Document Verification: Verification of educational certificates, ID proof, caste certificate, and other documents.
