Step-by-Step Guide to Fill SSC CHSL 2025 Online Form
- Complete OTR: Candidates must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC portal (www.ssc.gov.in) before applying.
- Application Window: Online applications accepted from 23 June 2025 to 18 July 2025.
- Live Photo Upload: Mandatory to upload a real-time photo using a webcam or the official SSC mobile app. Ensure face is clearly visible, looking straight, with a light/white background.
- Read Notification: Thoroughly read the official SSC CHSL 2025 notification for eligibility and instructions.
- Document Checklist: Prepare handwritten details, academic qualifications, ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.), address details, and basic personal information.
- Documents to Upload: Live photograph, signature, identity proof, thumb impression (if applicable).

- English Language: Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.
- General Intelligence: Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern-folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and de-coding, Numerical operations.

Tier-II Exam Pattern
- Sessions: Conducted in two sessions (Session-I and Session-II) on the same day.
- Qualification: Mandatory to qualify in all sections of Tier-II.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Section-III.

Details for Skill Test / Typing Test (Qualifying Nature):
- Part A (DEO in specific Depts.): Speed of 15,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer. Passage of 3700-4000 key-depressions.
- Part B (DEO): Speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour on Computer. Passage of 2000-2200 key-depressions.
- Part C (LDC/JSA): English Medium: 35 w.p.m. (approx. 10500 key depressions per hour). Hindi Medium: 30 w.p.m. (approx. 9000 key depressions per hour).

Tier-II Indicative Syllabus
- Module-I of Session-I (Mathematical Abilities): Number Systems, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability (Measures of central tendency, standard deviation, simple probabilities).
- Module-II of Session-I (Reasoning and General Intelligence): Same as Tier-I, covering both verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
- Module-I of Session-II (English Language and Comprehension): Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage (one simple, one based on current affairs).
- Module-II of Session-II (General Awareness): Same as Tier-I, covering current events, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy, and scientific research.
- Module-I of Session-III (Computer Knowledge/Proficiency): Computer Basics (CPU, input/output devices, memory, Windows Explorer, Keyboard shortcuts), Software (Windows OS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and e-mails (Web Browsing, Downloading/Uploading, e-Banking), Networking and cyber security (Networking devices, protocols, security threats, preventive measures).
